Subject and Scope:

GMP is a system aimed at ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards.

It is designed to mitigate risks in the production process that cannot be eliminated through testing the final product.

GMP covers all aspects of production, from initial materials, facilities, and equipment to training and personal hygiene of personnel.

By obtaining a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification, an organization fulfills a prerequisite for implementing an effective food safety program, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system.
