FSC™ was founded as a worldwide independent and non-profit organization in 1993 by environmental bodies and companies active in the wood industry and forestry.

FSC™ is a practical, flexible system and is applicable in the following business areas:

Sawmills

Wood processing industries

Wood industries and shops

Paper industry and stores

Publishing houses and printing houses

By obtaining the FSC™ label for one of its products, the company has an easier approach to the market because it shows that it has the same concern for forest resources as its clients.

After successful certification, the FSC™ certificate is issued for 5 years. Supervisory audit is conducted once a year.

The FSC™ certificate is internationally recognized.
